Vintage British Navy wool serge trousers. Working Dress Officers. 2 rear pockets. 2 hip pockets. Button fly and buttons for braces front and back. Dark navy blue wool serge. These are high waisted and will come up to about your stomach so will keep out all the draughts on your cold-weather expeditions.
They do work OK with the German braces although they are not absolutely perfect.
